Just like Family Home Care Service exists because of a simple, persistent gap in senior and family care: the space between daily living and full nursing oversight. It’s the place where a parent can still manage most of their day but shouldn’t be doing it entirely alone, where a spouse needs a break that doesn’t come with guilt, where recovery from surgery needs a steady hand rather than a hospital stay. We built our agency to live in that space, fully and intentionally.
Non-medical home care is often treated as an afterthought, something layered on top of clinical services almost as a convenience. We saw it differently. Families don’t just need tasks completed, they need to trust the person walking through their loved one’s front door. They need consistency, communication, and care that actually feels personal.
Just Like Family Home Care Service was built around that belief. Rather than approaching home care as a checklist of services, we approached it as a relationship: between caregiver and client, and between our agency and the families who trust us. Every part of how we operate, from caregiver matching to communication, grew out of that starting point.
We are a non-medical home care agency serving Indiana, supporting adults managing chronic conditions, individuals navigating early-stage memory loss, seniors who want to age in place with dignity, and patients recovering from surgery or rehabilitation.
Our services span personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, assistance with daily living activities, transportation, errands, and companionship. But the services themselves are only part of the picture. What truly defines us is how we deliver them: through strict caregiver matching, consistent communication platforms, and a clear focus on bridging the gap between independent living and nursing-level oversight, without ever blurring the line into medical care we’re not licensed to provide.
Our mission is to give families confidence and peace of mind by providing non-medical home care that feels personal, consistent, and genuinely attentive. We exist to support independence at home for as long as it’s safely possible, and to be a steady, trustworthy presence in the lives of the people we serve.
Families come to us looking for more than task completion. They stay with us because of how consistently we deliver on the things that matter most:
If you’re trying to figure out the right level of support for a parent, spouse, or loved one, we’re glad to help you think it through, no pressure, no obligation.
